Great Protein & Nut-Free Snack for Kids!

Some days I dream about just being able to stay home and chill on a weekday morning or afternoon with my son. However, there is almost no “staying home” for myself and my busy toddler. He is as active as they come and wants to be out of the house running around, exploring, and playing. I love this about him, but it also means that I’m on-the-go most of the day.

On a typical day, we leave the house about 9am and head to a gymnastics or music class, or the park or a museum. Then we come back for nap time (yes, I usually need a nap too), and after Nikson wakes we go out for an afternoon outing the another park, on a play date, or whatever else I can think of to get his energy out so he’ll go down for bed easily.

I always take extra time each morning to make sure I’ll have adequate snacks for the day packed in my diaper bag. Packing snacks for a picky eater has been challenging for me. However, I was introduced to Somersaults Sunflower Seed Snacks and Nikson and I are both obsessed!

    I enjoy this little yummy healthy snack. I do have a question: The somersault dutch cocoa
    How many of them can you eat to stay at 150 calories?
    Or is just one, 150 cals?

    1. A serving is 1 ounce or about 8 to 10 Dutch Cocoa bites. So glad you enjoy them! Happy Snacking!
